Motherly Care Children's Home
Motherly Care Children's Home is both a school and a home for orphaned, vulnerable and neglected children. MCCH hosts about 150 children.
The Home strives to rescue children who have been displaced, abandoned or orphaned as a result of HIV/Aids or abuse. The Home aims to transform the lives of these unfortunate children and to help them become productive, independent, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
The children are provided with a good home like living atmosphere, spiritual education, formal and informal education, entrepreneurial skills with the expectation of making them socially and economically stable and independent. The children will become the primary messengers and advocates who will reach out into the community to awaken and educate other children and teens about HIV AIDS, abstinence, drug abuse, crime and other issues that are ravaging the Kenyan communities.
