The Container for Kenya Appeal

Donations In Kind (DIK)

AKCO is involved in loading 40 ft containers with Donations In Kind (DIK). This project has been dubbed “The Container for Kenya Appeal”.

One of the ways of increasing world understanding is through the work of Donations In Kind (DIK). This is a major recycling operation, run by volunteers in Australia and Kenya. It gives suitable valuable goods to people and organisations in the Kenyan community who are in dire need.

AKCO continually accepts, collects, sorts and packs all sorts of Donations In Kind including:

Computers (minimum Pentium 4), laptops, used phones, books, stationery, shoes, used or new clothing of any kind including school uniforms, chairs, electronic equipment, bed linen, sewing machines, power tools etc. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any kind of Donations In Kind to arrange either a drop-off or pick-up.

You can also participate in the DIK project by sponsoring /donating towards the cost shipping of the containers to Kenya.
